Turkish giants Fenerbahçe are ramping up efforts to secure the signing of Nigerian defender Calvin Bassey ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Fulham centre-back has emerged as a key target for the Super Lig club, with reports indicating that Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım is set to travel to England for discussions with Fulham officials.
Yıldırım is also expected to hold talks with the player’s representatives during his visit to London.
Bassey joined Fulham from Ajax in 2023 in a deal worth €22.5 million and has one year left on his current contract.
