The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the November 8, 2025, Anambra State governorship election, Mr. John Chuma Nwosu, has congratulated the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate and former governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, on his 65th birthday.
He described him as a symbol of integrity, visionary leadership, and good governance.
In a goodwill message issued on Sunday, Nwosu said Obi’s unwavering commitment to accountability, national development, and the pursuit of a more prosperous, just and inclusive Nigeria had continued to inspire millions of Nigerians, particularly the younger generation.
“Today, we celebrate not only the gift of your life but also your enduring commitment to integrity, visionary leadership, and the pursuit of a more prosperous, just and inclusive Nigeria,” Nwosu said.
He noted that Obi’s dedication to the ideals of good governance and responsible leadership had earned him widespread admiration across the country.
The ADC standard-bearer prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the former Anambra governor, asking for good health, divine wisdom, renewed strength, and many more years of impactful service to Nigeria and humanity.
He also prayed that God would guide Obi’s steps, bless his endeavours, and crown his efforts with lasting success.
Nwosu wished the former governor greater accomplishments, abundant peace, and the fulfilment of his aspirations for a better Nigeria as he begins a new year.
He concluded by extending his best wishes to Obi, praying for many more happy and fruitful years ahead.
