Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has described Arsenal FC as the strongest and most consistent side in the Premier League ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final.
Speaking before the showdown with the Gunners, Enrique praised the work of Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and said the North London club’s performances this season have been deserving of major recognition.
“No, I am not surprised, especially with what he [Arteta] has done this year. They are absolutely worthy of winning the Premier League,” Enrique said.
“They were the best team and the most consistent. It was not always easy with [Manchester] City on their tails, but they deserve the title.
“Arteta has been there for six-and-a-half years, so he knows the team, and he knows them inside out.”
