Media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and his wife, Cynthia Obi-Uchendu, are preparing to welcome their third child, expanding their family nearly seven years after the birth of their second daughter.
Cynthia shared the news in an Instagram post accompanied by maternity photographs, revealing that every pregnancy has brought its own unique experience despite becoming a mother before.
Reflecting on the journey, she expressed gratitude to God for seeing her through another pregnancy, describing the experience as both challenging and rewarding.
“Yup! Seven years later, and we’re here again. That’s 10 years since my first rodeo,” she wrote, adding that she has come to realise that no two pregnancies are the same.
She also spoke about the personal significance of having a third child, saying the number represents wholeness and unity. Drawing inspiration from everyday symbolism and her Christian faith, Cynthia said she believes “the third time’s truly a charm.”
According to her, the couple’s daughters, Jewel and Rubi, are eagerly looking forward to welcoming their new sibling and have been excited throughout the pregnancy.
Cynthia also paid tribute to her husband, praising him for his unwavering support during the journey. She jokingly teased Ebuka about returning to diaper duties after believing he had moved past that stage of parenting.
“I know you thought you were done changing diapers,” she wrote humorously, before adding that their family of five now feels complete.
The expectant mother concluded her message by thanking God for His faithfulness and saying she is looking forward to the arrival of the baby and the blessings she believes the new addition will bring.
Ebuka and Cynthia, who got married in 2014, are already parents to two daughters and are now preparing to welcome the newest member of their family.
