Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has shared insights into her evolving dating preferences, revealing a growing interest in low-profile, working-class men.
Speaking during an appearance on The ZEZE Millz Show, the entertainer said her experiences with different types of partners have influenced her current outlook on relationships.
According to Cuppy, she now finds herself drawn to men with regular 9-to-5 jobs who are not active on social media. She described this preference as what is currently working best for her.
The DJ disclosed that she meets such individuals through dating applications, including exclusive platforms like Raya and The League. She noted that membership on The League comes at a premium, revealing that it costs about £400 to join.
Cuppy, who is the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, also stressed the importance of maintaining an open mind when dating.
She shared that she has gone on dates with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including a bus driver, a man living with his mother, a model, and a footballer.
For the 33-year-old, dating goes beyond status or profession. She described it as an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and better understand people from different walks of life.
Her comments reflect a broader perspective on modern relationships, where personal compatibility and authenticity may outweigh social status or public visibility.
