Digital taxi operators have threatened to disrupt transport services across the country starting next Monday if the government fails to lower fuel prices.
Speaking in Nairobi, the drivers said the rising cost of fuel has severely affected their operations, accusing ride-hailing companies of ignoring their concerns.
They said they are working under harsh conditions as earnings continue to decline due to the high cost of operations.
The operators are now calling on the government and platform owners to urgently seek lasting solutions to improve working conditions and ease the burden on the digital taxi business.
