Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has shared his perspective on relationships, saying non-celebrities are more likely to experience genuine and stable love compared to public figures.
He made the remarks during an appearance on the Ada’s Room podcast, where he discussed how lifestyle differences between celebrities and everyday individuals affect romantic relationships.
According to him, people outside the entertainment industry often have predictable daily routines that make it easier to build and maintain long-term commitments.
He explained that a typical work schedule—going to work and returning home—creates consistency that supports relationship stability.
In contrast, Blaqbonez said the life of an artist is filled with constant movement, new interactions, and unpredictable schedules that disrupt routine and make long-term relationships more difficult to sustain.
He noted that unlike regular individuals who may only encounter occasional disruptions, celebrities often experience frequent external influences that challenge their personal lives.
The rapper also said many of the people celebrities meet are often intentionally positioned to gain access to them, which makes forming authentic connections more complicated.
Blaqbonez added that while he values relationships, he does not subscribe to idealised notions of “fairytale love,” describing them as unrealistic expectations.
He further explained that his demanding lifestyle as a musician limits his ability to offer a traditional, settled relationship experience.
According to him, a simpler lifestyle outside fame would likely make it easier to focus on one partner and build a more consistent romantic life.
His comments have since sparked conversations online about the pressures of fame and how celebrity lifestyles influence personal relationships.
