FC Barcelona have reportedly entered direct negotiations with Newcastle United over a potential summer move for winger Anthony Gordon.
The 23-year-old has also attracted interest from Arsenal and Bayern Munich, with competition expected to intensify ahead of the transfer window.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Barcelona are accelerating their pursuit, with sporting director Deco travelling to the United Kingdom to initiate discussions. Gordon is also said to be open to the switch.
Romano wrote on X: “Barcelona are in direct club to club talks with Newcastle for Anthony Gordon.
“The player’s keen on the move but more clubs are also on it.
“This was the reason of Deco’s mission to the UK, as @mundodeportivo reports.
“Bayern and Premier League clubs are also keen.”
