Manchester United are close to having their complete first-team squad available for pre-season preparations after captain Bruno Fernandes resumed training.
Fernandes returned to Carrington this week following his involvement with Portugal at the World Cup and was joined by teammates Diogo Dalot, Noussair Mazraoui and Matheus Cunha.
The midfielder is expected to feature in United’s next friendly against Paris Saint-Germain in Gothenburg on Saturday.
New summer signing Youri Tielemans could also make his first appearance for the club in the encounter.
Kobbie Mainoo, Marcus Rashford and Lisandro Martinez remain the only first-team players yet to return to training.
The trio are expected back next week during United’s training camp in Dublin ahead of their friendly clash with Leeds at Croke Park.
