Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie has shared a deeply personal family milestone after posting photographs featuring four generations of women and children in her family.
The images, shared on Instagram, capture the actress alongside her son, her 72-year-old mother, and her 95-year-old grandmother—a moment she described as both rare and unforgettable.
Reflecting on the occasion, Dima-Okojie said seeing her grandmother meet and hold her great-grandson filled her with gratitude and reminded her of the strength of family across generations.
“Four generations. Looking at this photo, my heart is so full. My incredible 72-year-old mum, my remarkable 95-year-old grandmother, my son, and me. What an indescribable blessing that my grandmother gets to meet and hold her great-grandson, and that we get to freeze this moment in time together,” she wrote.
The actress also opened up about her experience of becoming a mother while continuing to receive care and guidance from the women who raised her.
She described the season as a humbling one, saying the love, prayers and support of both her mother and grandmother had sustained her through motherhood.
“As I cared for my son, I was also deeply cared for by my mum and my grandmother. There is something so humbling about becoming a mother while still being mothered. Their presence, their prayers, their gentle guidance, and the love they’ve poured into me have carried me through this season in ways I can’t fully put into words,” she added.
Dima-Okojie said she does not take the experience for granted, noting that having four generations together in one photograph is a privilege she will cherish for years to come.
She concluded her tribute by thanking her mother and grandmother for shaping her life through their example of grace, resilience and unconditional love, expressing the hope that she can pass those same values on to her son.
The actress, known for her performances in North East, Battleground, Flawsome, and Blood Sisters, welcomed her first child earlier this year after previously speaking publicly about her journey with fertility and motherhood.
