Manchester United Women have parted ways with head coach Marc Skinner by mutual agreement, just weeks before the start of the new Women’s Super League campaign.
Skinner, who took charge of the team in 2021, guided United to their first major women’s football trophy after winning the FA Cup in 2024.
Confirming the decision on Monday, the club said in a statement: “Marc Skinner has departed his role as head coach of Manchester United Women by mutual agreement.”
The club added: “Marc leaves having made a significant contribution to the continued progress of Manchester United Women.”
United finished fourth in the WSL last season, 15 points behind champions Manchester City, and will begin their new campaign away to London City Lionesses on September 4.
