Kwara United Technical Adviser Ashifat Suleiman has appealed to the club’s supporters for patience as the team continues preparations for the 2026/27 season.
The Harmony Boys fell to a 2-1 defeat against Shooting Stars in a pre-season friendly played in Ibadan on Sunday, but Suleiman insisted the result forms part of the team’s rebuilding journey.
“I urge our fans to keep believing in the team and continue supporting our rebuilding process as we prepare for the new season,” Sulyman told Kwara United’s media.
The coach disclosed that the technical crew has identified key areas requiring improvement and is working to address them before the new campaign begins.
Kwara United have bolstered their squad with 16 new signings ahead of the season, with Suleiman expressing confidence that the team’s shortcomings will be corrected in time for the league opener.
