Relationship coach and writer Solomon Buchi has encouraged content creators Peller and Jarvis to undergo marriage counselling ahead of their wedding scheduled for Saturday.
Buchi shared the advice after reacting to a viral video that captured an argument between the couple. In the clip, Jarvis told Peller he was free to take back the car he had bought for her, prompting widespread discussions on social media.
Commenting on the exchange, Buchi said he supports people getting married at a young age but believes such decisions should be guided by emotional maturity, mentorship and a willingness to receive advice.
According to him, building a successful marriage requires far more than entertaining audiences online or creating engaging content.
“I don’t want to sound like a hater. I love early marriage, but I believe it should come with maturity, openness to advice, and mentorship. Marriage is more than streaming and fooling around on social media; it is more than cameras. So if they are taking this marriage thing seriously, they should get marriage counselling,” he said.
The relationship expert maintained that premarital counselling could help the couple establish a stronger foundation before exchanging vows.
