Lagos-based celebrity show promoter Sam Larry has resurfaced after being discharged from hospital following the car accident that claimed the life of his bouncer.
The promoter had been receiving treatment after the crash, which sparked widespread speculation on social media about the severity of his injuries. Some online reports claimed he was in a coma, while others alleged he had undergone a leg amputation.
In one of the videos shared on Friday, Sam Larry appeared on a video call with Fuji musician Malaika during the singer’s performance at an event, appearing cheerful and in good spirits.
Another video later showed him celebrating with friends and associates. During the gathering, he repeatedly lifted his legs, seemingly dismissing rumours that one had been amputated.
The accident had generated significant online reactions, with some social media users linking the incident to allegations surrounding the death of late singer Mohbad, while others expressed concern over Sam Larry’s condition.
The newly circulated videos, however, suggest the promoter has recovered sufficiently to leave hospital, although no official medical statement on his condition has been released.
