Nigerian singer Brymo has alleged that music star 2Baba once asked his former wife, Annie Macaulay, whether she had ever been involved with him.
The claim was made during Brymo’s recent appearance on the NotJustOk podcast, where he spoke about his past relationships and advised younger artistes to avoid becoming involved with married women.
According to Brymo, the alleged exchange took place in 2019 during a meeting at an office in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
Recalling the incident, the singer claimed that 2Baba directly asked Annie Macaulay in his presence whether she had ever been intimate with him.
Brymo also said he had encountered women who told him they were separated from their husbands, using the experience to caution younger entertainers about the potential consequences of such relationships.
He urged upcoming artistes to avoid relationships with married women, saying doing otherwise could lead to serious problems.
As of the time of filing this report, neither 2Baba nor Annie Macaulay has publicly responded to Brymo’s allegations.
Brymo has previously made headlines over remarks about his interactions with fellow entertainers. In 2023, he claimed he had proposed intimate relationships to some female artistes in exchange for collaborations, a statement that generated widespread public debate.
