The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) has released its six-player shortlists for the Men’s and Women’s Player of the Year awards.
In the men’s category, Arsenal trio Gabriel Magalhães, David Raya and Declan Rice—all key figures in Arsenal’s Premier League title-winning campaign—are included alongside Rayan Cherki, Erling Haaland and Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United.
For the women’s award, the shortlist features reigning 2023/24 winner Khadija Shaw, Lauren James, Alessia Russo, Yui Hasegawa, Kirsty Hanson and Jess Park.
The PFA also revealed its Men’s Young Player of the Year nominees, which include Cherki, Max Dowman, Junior Kroupi, Kobbie Mainoo, Rio Ngumoha and Nico O’Reilly.
