Senior members of Real Madrid’s scouting and recruitment department are advocating for a potential move for Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice.
The Spanish club’s talent evaluators have been impressed by Rice’s displays since his arrival at Arsenal, viewing his leadership qualities, physical presence and technical ability as assets that could strengthen any team.
The England international played a pivotal role in Arsenal’s Premier League-winning campaign, helping the club secure its first league title in 22 years.
Rice finished the recently concluded season with five goals and seven assists across competitions.
However, Arsenal may be reluctant to part with one of their most influential players, having invested ÂŁ100 million to sign him in 2023.
The deal remains one of the biggest in English football history, making Rice a joint-record holder as the most expensive English player ever signed.
