A light aircraft has crash landed at Olkiombo Conservancy in Maasai Mara.
No casualties have been reported, Narok County Police Commander Patrick Loboloa confirmed.
The fixed wing plane crashed at the the Conservancy on Monday at around midday. Mr Loboloa said a comprehensive report will be issued later.
“The plane crashed at the runway following a tyre burst,” a source at the conservancy told the Nation.
The aircraft is said to have been carrying tourists from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara when the incident occurred.
It was not immediately clear how many passengers were on board. Footage from the scene shows the cockpit was damaged by the impact of the crash.
Police and administration bosses in Narok had not responded to queries from media by press time as they were said to be taking part in Madaraka Day celebrations.
A second pane could be seen parked on the runway.
