Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has stirred reactions online after sharing his opinion on infidelity in marriage and how men should respond to cheating partners.
In a post shared on X, the actor advised men to immediately end a relationship once they confirm that their wives have been unfaithful.
According to Edochie, men should avoid trying to negotiate, excuse, or tolerate infidelity in the name of preserving a marriage.
“Once you find out your wife is cheating on you, leave her immediately. Men, stop tolerating nonsense in the name of marriage,” he wrote.
The actor also advised against confronting or engaging with the alleged third party involved in the affair, insisting that the best option is to move on quickly.
“Don’t negotiate anything with her. Don’t condone. Don’t discuss with her boyfriend. Let her go quickly. And move on,” he added.
Edochie further argued that forgiving a cheating partner could make a man appear weak, claiming that some women take advantage of men they perceive that way.
“If you forgive her and continue, you have confirmed to her that you’re a weak man. Danger looms for you. That decision will come back to haunt you later,” he stated.
