Nigeria’s Flamingos are expected to leave for Abidjan on Wednesday ahead of their first-leg fixture against Guinea Women’s National Under-17 Football Team in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The qualifying match will take place in Abidjan on Saturday, while the return leg is billed for May 30 at the Remo Stars Stadium.
Coach Akeem Busari’s squad moved to Ikenne last week to conclude preparations for the double-header encounter.
The Flamingos boosted confidence with a 5-0 victory over Lakeside Queens in a friendly match played last Thursday.
A total of 36 players are presently in camp, although the squad is expected to be reduced before the team travels to Abidjan.
