Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno on Thursday night conducted an unscheduled inspection of the ARISE Palm Resort after hours of meetings with the state’s Tourism Committee.
The governor, accompanied by commissioners and other members of the State Executive Council, toured sections of the expansive resort facility, walking through the driveway to the tourist gate while admiring the ambience and infrastructure at the site.
During the inspection, Eno and members of his entourage took a ride on one of the newly installed roller coasters, adding excitement to the late-night tour of the tourism project.
An elated governor described the resort as a recreational destination designed to provide relaxation and leisure opportunities for residents and visitors.
According to him, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. As we work, we must also find time to relax. That is why this Resort has something for everyone.”
Eno reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to expanding tourism infrastructure in Akwa Ibom State and disclosed that the final commissioning of the ARISE Palm Resort has been scheduled for September 2026.
