Kelechi Iheanacho struck in stoppage time from the spot to secure a dramatic 3-2 victory for Celtic FC against Motherwell FC on Wednesday night.
The Scottish Premiership encounter appeared destined for a 2-2 draw until a handball in the box led to a late penalty for the visitors.
Elliot Watt had given Motherwell the lead before Daizen Maeda levelled for Celtic just before the break. The visitors then went ahead in the second half through a powerful strike from Benjamin Nygren.
Motherwell drew level again via Liam Gordon, setting up a tense finish before Iheanacho’s decisive penalty.
At the top of the table, Heart of Midlothian FC lead with 70 points, Rangers FC are second on 69, while Celtic sit third with 67 points.
