Liverpool FC manager Arne Slot has dismissed uncertainty surrounding his position at Anfield, stating that he expects to remain in charge for next season as preparations continue for the club’s future.
According to reports shared by Fabrizio Romano on X Thursday, Slot expressed confidence about continuing his role with the Premier League side.
“I have every reason to believe I will be the Liverpool manager next season.”
The Dutch coach also disclosed that planning for the next campaign is already underway, including recruitment discussions involving prospective signings.
“The plans for next season have been made, talks are ongoing between the club and new players, and I am involved in that,” he said.
Liverpool are expected to reinforce multiple areas of the squad during the upcoming transfer window as the club prepares for the 2026/27 season.
Slot’s remarks are expected to calm speculation over his future while reassuring supporters that the club remains committed to long-term rebuilding and squad improvement.
Since succeeding former manager Jürgen Klopp, Slot has played a central role in reshaping the team and guiding Liverpool’s new football project.
