The Super Falcons will face a 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations-qualified side in a friendly next month after their planned training trip to the United Kingdom was cancelled.
Justine Madugu’s team had been set to play Jamaica at the end of this month as part of preparations for WAFCON 2026.
However, Jamaica pulled out due to administrative challenges.
The Super Falcons will now host the AFCON-qualified team for a two-legged friendly during the June 7 to 14 international window.
Nigeria will target a record-extending 11th WAFCON title in Morocco in July. They are in Group C alongside Malawi, Zambia and Egypt. The tournament runs from July 25 to August 16.
