Arsenal have confirmed that Beth Mead will part ways with the club at the end of the current season.
The England forward is set to leave the Gunners after spending nine years with the team, with her existing contract due to expire.
During her spell at Arsenal, Mead secured six major trophies, including the UEFA Women’s Champions League title.
Recent reports have linked the 31-year-old with a possible transfer to Manchester City, where her partner and former Arsenal striker Vivianne Miedema currently plays.
Mead leaves having made 258 appearances and scored 83 goals for the North London club.
She will not be the only player bidding farewell to supporters this week, as Arsenal host Everton in their final home fixture of the season on Wednesday night.
Earlier on the same day, Arsenal also announced that Laia Codina and Victoria Pelova would be leaving the club at the end of the campaign.
