Afrobeats star Asake has set a new streaming milestone with his fourth studio album M$NEY, which has reportedly recorded the biggest opening week ever for an Afrobeats album on Spotify Nigeria.
The project, which has only been out for a week, has now surpassed the previous record held by Wizkid’s 2024 album Morayo, marking another major commercial achievement for the fast-rising global Afrobeats star.
The performance further underscores Asake’s growing dominance in streaming markets, where his releases have consistently broken records and expanded the global reach of Afrobeats.
