Content creator and singer Nasboi has shared an unexpected encounter with Grammy-winning artiste Burna Boy, saying the singer gifted him cash and offered encouraging words during a nightclub meeting.
Nasboi made the revelation on Monday via his X account, describing the moment as a surprising highlight of his night out in Lagos.
According to him, he had visited the club to watch a performance by rapper Odumodublvck, unaware that Burna Boy was also present at the venue.
He explained that as he was leaving the club, Burna Boy noticed him, called him over, and engaged him briefly. Nasboi said the award-winning artiste complimented him and handed him a stack of $100 bills.
Describing the encounter, Nasboi said the gesture left a strong impression on him, noting that being acknowledged in such a manner was uplifting.
“Yesterday, I went to the club to see Odumodu perform. On my way out, @burnaboy was there too, he noticed me, called me over, appreciated me with kind words, and gave me some money. It feels amazing to be seen. Thank you for lifting my spirit, ODG,” he wrote.
The interaction has since sparked reactions online, adding to ongoing conversations around celebrity encounters and nightlife culture within Nigeria’s entertainment scene.
