Nigerian actress and producer Wumi Toriola has spoken about the financial pressures facing filmmakers, noting that limited resources often restrict creative expression.

According to the actress, filmmaking in Nigeria demands resilience, as creators frequently work with insufficient funding while striving to maintain quality.
“Every frame we create is fueled by sacrifice, passion, consistency, and an unshakable belief that our stories deserve to be told,” she said.
Toriola added that despite the constraints, she remains committed to delivering impactful content, emphasizing that the limitations will not define her work.
