RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande has left the club’s pre-season base in Austria as he prepares to complete a move to Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants have reached a full agreement with Leipzig on a deal that could rise to £120 million, with Madrid set to pay an initial guaranteed fee of £107 million for the 19-year-old.
The transfer package also includes achievable add-ons that could increase the value to around £116 million, alongside a further £4 million in more difficult-to-reach bonuses.
Diomande chose Real Madrid despite interest from Premier League side Liverpool and French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Madrid manager Jose Mourinho reportedly pushed for the signing as he looks to add more pace and attacking threat to his squad.
