Popular Nigerian skitmaker and content creator Zicsaloma has opened up about what he described as the most regrettable financial decision of his career, purchasing a luxury Range Rover Sport.
Speaking during a recent interview, the comedian disclosed that he paid over ₦30 million for the vehicle, only for it to develop serious mechanical faults shortly after purchase.
According to him, the problems became so frequent that he spent an additional ₦10 million on repairs within just a few months, without achieving lasting solutions. The recurring issues, he said, made owning the car emotionally and financially draining.
Unable to keep up with the constant repairs, Zicsaloma revealed that he eventually sold the vehicle for ₦11 million, barely three to four months after buying it, a decision that resulted in a substantial financial loss.
Reflecting on the experience, the skitmaker described the transaction as a painful lesson in luxury spending, noting that the money lost far outweighed the brief satisfaction of owning the car.
Zicsaloma’s remarks have since sparked conversations online about the hidden costs of maintaining high-end vehicles and the importance of financial prudence, even among celebrities.
