Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi has been named in FC Porto’s squad for their UEFA Europa League Matchday Three encounter against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Thursday.
Sanusi, who recently suffered a calf injury while on international duty with Nigeria, missed Porto’s Cup match last weekend. However, the 26-year-old left-back resumed full training with his teammates ahead of the trip to England and has now been declared fit by the club’s medical team.
The Nigerian international featured in Porto’s first two Europa League fixtures this season and is expected to play a key role as the Portuguese side seeks to strengthen their position in the competition.
