Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has publicly advised her colleague, Regina Daniels, to end her marriage to businessman and politician Ned Nwoko if the circulating allegations of domestic violence are true.
Taking to Instagram, Jegede shared a candid message urging Regina to prioritize her safety and mental well-being, emphasizing that violence should never be tolerated in any relationship—regardless of gender.
“Regina, you are still very young. If there’s violence in your marriage, please carry your bag,” Jegede wrote. “There is never sugarcoating for me as long as violence is involved — both for man and woman.”
The actress further encouraged the mother of two to make decisions that protect her peace and her children’s welfare.
“Prioritize your sanity and your sons,” Jegede added.
Jegede’s comments come amid widespread social media conversations surrounding Regina Daniels’ alleged marital troubles. As of the time of reporting, neither Regina Daniels nor Ned Nwoko has issued a public statement addressing the allegations.
The development has sparked fresh debates online about domestic violence and the pressures faced by women in celebrity marriages.
