As of January 2026, Spotify data places Wizkid at the top of Africa’s most-streamed artists list. Burna Boy follows with over 9.5 billion streams, while Rema ranks third on 5.6 billion. Tems has crossed 4.4 billion streams, South African pop star Tyla stands at 3.7 billion, and Nigerian singer Ayra Starr records approximately 3.3 billion streams.
Wizkid’s Made In Lagos (Deluxe) remains his most-streamed body of work on Spotify, exceeding one billion streams and reinforcing the album’s status as a defining project in the global rise of Afrobeats.
Beyond streaming success, Wizkid has built an award-winning career. He is a Grammy Award winner for his contribution to Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack and has earned multiple accolades from BET, Soul Train, and Billboard, among others.
