Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has officially inaugurated Majority FM 89.5, a new radio station in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The station is equipped with modern broadcasting facilities and aims to expand media outreach, provide diverse programming, and serve as a platform for community engagement across the South-South region.
During the launch, Wike toured the studio, inspected the equipment, and interacted with staff, emphasizing the importance of the station in delivering timely information to residents. “This station will carry messages to all local government areas of Rivers State. Our goal is to engage communities, provide accurate information, and ensure citizens have access to relevant news and programming”, Wike said during the launch. He added that the station’s programming would include educational content, community updates, and discussions on governance and development.
