Warri Wolves have confirmed the reinstatement of their head coach, Napoleon Aluma, weeks after he was suspended by the Delta Sports Commission over the team’s disappointing start to the season.
The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) had questioned the decision at the time, as Aluma’s assistant, Jonny Austin, stepped in to manage the team on an interim basis.
However, the Seasiders have now recalled Aluma following a recent dip in performance, recording just one draw and two defeats in their last three league fixtures.
Aluma, who guided Warri Wolves to promotion from the lower division, is expected to resume full duties immediately as the club seeks to regain stability.
Warri Wolves will host Nasarawa United this weekend in Ozoro.
