Former Fenerbahçe star Serhat Akın has hailed Victor Osimhen as the greatest striker ever to play in the Turkish Super Lig.
Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan last season, delivered a remarkable campaign, recording 45 goal involvements in 41 appearances across all competitions.
The Nigerian international played a pivotal role in guiding Galatasaray to both the Turkish Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup.
Speaking to reporters, Akın praised the 26-year-old’s impact, saying:
“Osimhen is an extraordinary man. I think he’s the greatest centre-forward to ever grace this league.”
Akın also compared Osimhen with former Galatasaray star Mauro Icardi, noting:
“Icardi is a pure striker — he did amazing things for two years and became the top scorer. But if I were a manager, I’d be incredibly happy to have Osimhen on my team. He’s my dream centre-forward.”
