Social media personality Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), and comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, widely called Mr Jollof, have been caught on camera engaging in a physical altercation aboard a commercial flight.
The incident came to light on Monday after Facebook user Dr Paul Ezikel posted a video showing the pair exchanging blows aboard a United Nigerian Airline aircraft traveling from Asaba, Delta State, to Lagos.
The confrontation marks the latest escalation in a long-running feud between the two entertainers. Their dispute previously intensified after VDM accused Mr Jollof’s wife of being involved with internet fraudsters, a claim that led to multiple heated exchanges online.
VDM later confirmed the in-flight fight in a video shared on his Facebook page, boasting that he overpowered the comedian during the scuffle.
“I don chop Jollof father for inside plane. He bite me, man wey dey bite,” he said, displaying what he claimed were bite marks.
Airline officials have yet to comment on the incident, and it remains unclear whether any disciplinary or legal actions will follow. The video, however, has stirred widespread reactions online as social media users debate the duo’s ongoing rivalry and their conduct aboard a commercial flight.
