Popular Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has encouraged single women to prioritize personal growth and self-development before aspiring to marry rich or influential men.
The actor shared this advice while responding to the social media buzz surrounding his character Odogwu, a generous billionaire lover in the movie Love In Every World 2. Many fans had hailed the character as the ideal man, praising his kindness and wealth.
However, Arukwe reminded his followers that Odogwu’s affection for his on-screen partner Chioma, played by reality star Bambam, was rooted in her value and industrious nature.
According to him, Chioma’s character was already self-sufficient and hardworking before her partner began supporting her, proving that self-worth attracts meaningful relationships.
“While we are basking in our delulu, it’s important to remember that Odogwu saw Chioma as a valuable woman before throwing his full weight to support her,” Arukwe wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) page.
“He didn’t even need to ask what she brings to the table because it was clear she’s an industrious woman. So as a woman, build value for yourself first, and your Odogwu will locate you to become your helpmate that makes everything easier to handle.”
Arukwe’s post has since drawn widespread reactions online, with many users commending him for promoting self-worth, discipline, and balance in relationships, both on and off screen.
