Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has pushed back against online rumours connecting him to alleged tension in the marriage of fellow actor Bambam and her husband, Teddy A.
The speculation surfaced after Arukwe and Bambam featured together in the 2025 YouTube film, Love In Every Word, which gained significant online attention.
In a strongly worded statement shared on social media, Arukwe described the claims circulating about him as false and malicious. He said a particular social media account had been identified as the source of what he called baseless allegations regarding his professional collaboration with Bambam.
The actor stated that he would not amplify the account by mentioning it directly but warned that legal consequences could follow. According to him, the individual responsible would be held accountable as a deterrent to others who spread damaging content for online engagement.
Arukwe stressed that he would not allow his reputation to be undermined by what he described as clout-chasing behaviour. He added that those responsible for the allegations should be prepared to face the legal implications of their actions.
The controversy comes at a time when Bambam and Teddy A’s marriage has been under public scrutiny. Some social media users have speculated that on-screen chemistry between actors could be fueling tension off-screen.
While Bambam has not directly addressed the rumours, she recently posted a video on her social media platforms without commenting on the speculation. Teddy A, on his part, has previously denied domestic violence allegations, describing them as unfounded.
As the situation unfolds, Arukwe’s response signals a growing willingness among public figures to challenge online narratives they consider defamatory.
