The nationwide recruitment of 10,000 police officers kicked off on Monday, with thousands of unemployed youths, including university graduates, turning up to take part in the exercise.
The National Police Service views the recruitment drive as a crucial step toward addressing pressing security needs, including preparations to ensure safety and security during the 2027 General Election.
