Works Minister David Umahi has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Governor of Anambra State, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, following his resounding re-election victory over the weekend.
Umahi described Governor Soludo’s triumph as a clear demonstration of the unwavering confidence and trust reposed in him by Ndi Anambra.
According to the Minister, the overwhelming support received at the polls reflects the people’s appreciation for the governor’s exceptional leadership, prudent management of resources, and his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and sustainable development.
“Your resounding victory underscores the implicit confidence of the good people of Anambra in your progressive leadership,” Senator Umahi said.
“This renewed social contract is a powerful mandate for you to continue advancing the development of Anambra State through policies anchored on transparency, accountability, and innovation.”
Umahi praised Governor Soludo for significantly transforming the economic and infrastructural landscape of Anambra State, noting that the emerging indices of economic growth, improved governance, and infrastructural renewal clearly showcase his dedication to public service.
He highlighted Soludo’s efforts in road rehabilitation, entrepreneurship empowerment, digital economy initiatives, and sustainable urban planning as key milestones that have reshaped Anambra’s development trajectory.
Umahi emphasized that these achievements have not only improved living standards but have also positioned the state as a model for other sub-national governments in Nigeria.
“You have done exceedingly well in redefining the developmental direction of Anambra State,” Senator Umahi continued.
