United Kingdom–based Nigerian innovators are set to launch a groundbreaking application, the Career Virtual Intelligence (CVI AI), in November, a platform designed to simplify employability, address global labour shortages, and empower users to learn and earn simultaneously.
In a statement on Monday, Project Lead, Damilola Fatungase, said the initiative builds on the success of the project’s pilot phase, which began in January, and aims to transform the global job market through technology-driven solutions.
According to her, CVI AI goes beyond traditional job portals, offering a holistic career ecosystem with features such as AI-powered CV generation, interview preparation tools, continuous professional development, and a dedicated NHS career support portal.
Fatungase said the project is being executed in partnership with Director of the London Tilcareer Institute, UK, Oyewole Alegbeye,. She noted that both have previously supported more than 500,000 young Nigerians through similar digital career initiatives.
Their innovative efforts have earned them nominations for the Africans in Tech–United Kingdom Awards, scheduled to hold in Birmingham on November 13, 2025.
Fatungase expressed optimism that CVI AI will redefine how job seekers, employers, and institutions interact globally, positioning Africa and its diaspora at the forefront of tech-driven employment solutions.
