Nollywood actress Uche Montana has opened up about how her fame has affected her romantic life, revealing that only a “special kind of man” could approach her and accept her fully.
Speaking on the Uncut Xtra podcast, Montana, a mother of one, acknowledged that her celebrity status can intimidate potential suitors. However, she said she values the financial comfort and stability fame has brought her, making it a “big win” despite the challenges it presents in dating.
“It is going to take a special kind of man to have all of me. Fame has done amazing things for me. I can’t take that away,” she said. “A man who feels intimidated by my fame can’t even be in the conversation of having a relationship with me. Fame is not supposed to make love difficult, but it might because of the kind of world that we are in.”
Montana also observed that many attractive women remain single because men often assume that they are already in relationships. Despite these hurdles, she said she is grateful for the opportunities her fame has provided and remains open to finding a partner who embraces her lifestyle and achievements.
