Kwara United technical adviser Tunde Sanni has praised his players for sticking to the game plan in their 2-0 win over Kun Khalifat FC.
Aule Shirsha Johnmark and Kingsley Obiora scored the goals that sealed victory for the Harmony Boys.
Sanni said the result was a timely boost ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup clash with Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.
“A good test ahead of our CAF game in two weeks’ time in Ghana,” the coach remarked.
Kwara United will next face Warri Wolves in a matchday four NPFL fixture at the Southern Delta University Stadium, Ozoro, before shifting focus to their continental assignment.
