Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has publicly celebrated her colleague Mike Ezuruonye for his role in her 2025 cinema release, Oversabi Aunty.
In a post shared on Instagram, Abraham expressed appreciation for Ezuruonye’s commitment to the project, revealing that he embraced the script immediately after she reached out to him.
According to her, the actor delivered beyond expectations and brought depth to his character. She described him as a seasoned professional whose consistency stands out across roles.
“Honestly, I can’t even say you murdered the role, because in every role you’ve ever played, you always murder it. You are truly a master of the game!” she wrote.
Abraham also highlighted Ezuruonye’s supportive attitude during production. She noted that he made the filming process smooth and stress-free, while actively promoting the movie during its cinema run through meet-and-greet appearances.
She further revealed that when she proposed a character delivery blending English, Yoruba, and Igbo languages, Ezuruonye quickly agreed and executed the role seamlessly.
“Thank you for bringing your character to life,” she added, expressing eagerness to collaborate with him again in the future.
Oversabi Aunty, released in 2025, forms part of Abraham’s growing catalogue of cinema projects and continues to generate conversations among Nollywood audiences.
