Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has urged fans to prioritise kindness and empathy, particularly in light of recent challenges faced by actress Regina Daniels.
Speaking on social media, Dikeh reminded her followers that life can change unexpectedly, warning against celebrating the misfortunes of others.
“I will never laugh at another person’s misfortune because life has proven to be unpredictable. One minute, you are rejoicing over someone’s downfall; the next, you are praying for support and mercy that you never gave. Be kind!” she wrote on her platform.
The actress emphasised that small acts of kindness cost nothing but can make a meaningful difference, noting that empathy is often undervalued.
“Be kind, life has a funny way of shifting. Kindness is so underrated. It costs nothing to be kind,” she added.
Dikeh’s comments come amid widespread discussion of Daniels’ marital issues, serving as a reminder of the importance of compassion when public figures face personal challenges.
“Life is unpredictable. Treat others with respect and understanding, especially during difficult times,” Dikeh advised.
The actress’ message underscores a broader call for responsible online behavior, encouraging fans to support rather than mock public figures navigating personal hardships.
