Actress and politician Tonto Dikeh publicly commended her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, during their son’s 10th birthday celebration held in Abuja.
The football-themed event drew the presence of several Nigerian celebrities and marked a significant moment for the former couple, who have had a highly publicised past.
In a video from the party that has since circulated online, Dikeh expressed appreciation for Churchill’s role as a father.
“Churchill, you are an amazing father, and I just want to thank you so much. Thank you. I love you with the love of God, and I wish you all the best,” she said.
She went further to offer prayers for his family, businesses and children, wishing them progress and divine favour.
The celebration comes amid reports of a recent reconciliation between the former couple, reportedly facilitated by Jerry Eze. Churchill had earlier applauded Dikeh for fostering a reunion with their son after years of strained relations.
Dikeh, in turn, credited Pastor Eze with helping her embrace forgiveness and peace, while Churchill acknowledged her efforts in raising their son with care and intention.
The birthday event signalled a notable shift in their relationship, drawing positive reactions from supporters
