Super Eagles forward Tolu Arokodare will begin working under a new manager at Wolverhampton Wanderers following the club’s confirmation of Rob Edwards as head coach on Wednesday.
Edwards, 42, leaves Middlesbrough in the Sky Bet Championship to take charge of Wolves, signing a three-and-a-half-year deal at Molineux. He replaces Vitor Pereira, who was sacked two weeks ago after a 3-0 defeat to Fulham.
Wolves have endured a difficult start to the 2025/26 Premier League season, remaining winless in 12 games, with only two points, leaving them eight points adrift of safety.
Arokodare, 24, joined Wolves from KRC Genk in the summer. The forward has yet to score or assist in seven league appearances, though he has netted twice in the Carabao Cup.
The Super Eagles striker will hope Edwards can help turn around Wolves’ challenging season as they look to climb out of the relegation zone.
