Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage has opened up about her current dating and marital prospects, revealing that her eligible suitors are mostly older or already married.
The singer, mother of one, discussed her romantic reality during a recent appearance on the American podcast Air Service. She admitted that given her circumstances, she is open to the possibility of being a second wife.
“If I meet somebody who can really marry me, they are either in their 50s or already married. So, I don’t know. Maybe I can be a second wife. I think so. I could be a second wife,” Savage said.
She assured listeners that she would be respectful in such a situation and would not cause conflict with a co-wife. “I think I can go along with the first wife and she’s going to love me because I’m not going to be troublesome. I’m going to be going on tours, I’m not really going to stress you. I’m very respectful, I know that you are the first wife and would accord you that respect,” she added.
Tiwa Savage was previously married to music executive Tunji Balogun, also known as TBillz, from 2013 to 2018. The couple shares a son, and their separation involved mutual allegations of infidelity.
