President Bola Tinubu has called on Nigeria’s international partners to support the country’s fight against terrorism and violent crimes, stressing that Nigeria remains a dependable partner in global efforts for peace and stability. He made the statement on his verified X handle, @officialABAT, emphasizing the country’s role as a responsible global actor.
“Nigeria will be, and remain, a reliable partner and dependable ally to its friends and a steady voice for stability. We welcome the collaboration and support of our allies as we strengthen both security and economic growth,” he wrote.
Tinubu reaffirmed that his administration will spare no effort to eliminate criminals and protect citizens, highlighting that security of lives and property is central to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“We are indeed faced with terrorism, a challenge Nigeria has faced for almost two decades, and we will not back down. Security is non-negotiable, and we will never compromise on this principle,” he added.
The President also urged Nigerians to remain united, resilient, and committed to building a safer, stronger country:
“Nigeria is one united family. We rise together, move forward together, and reject despair in favour of determination. Our future is far more robust than any fears we may have.”
Honouring the sacrifices of the armed forces and security agencies, Tinubu described their courage as a source of national strength:“To the brave men and women of our armed forces and intelligence community who serve fearlessly and sometimes pay the ultimate price, we express our deepest gratitude. Your commitment is our strength in the fight against terror.”
He concluded by assuring that his reforms will continue to deliver results, underlining Nigeria’s determination to overcome security challenges while fostering economic growth.
The Tinubu Media Force (TMF) also reaffirmed Nigeria’s pivotal role in Africa, highlighting the country’s population, diversity, and economic significance as key anchors for the continent.
